



ZuKaş is a Zu-node in Kaş, Turkey with an explicit governance and Lycian democracy theme. Popup villages here lean into culturally rooted community practice rather than pure hacker-house energy. It draws on the ancient Lycian principles of democracy and commons to run residencies where builders, researchers, and creators colive and stress-test decentralized coordination and participatory governance. The project blends Web3 tools with plurality and regenerative practices. ZuKas is a living hub uniting Lycian roots with longevity and civic innovation. In 2025, it hosted its first pop-up village - ZuKas I.
