As the Head of Business Development, you will own the BD function from strategy to signed deal. You will set targets, build the pipeline, close enterprise deals, and hire a growing team while reporting directly to the CEO.
Key Responsibilities
- Set the BD strategy and revenue targets for digital authenticity across enterprise, platform, and institutional buyers.
- Build and own the pipeline.
- Close the largest strategic deals and partnerships yourself.
- Define the sales playbook, deal process, and pricing approach with the CEO and Product.
- Manage and coach the other BD/Sales Managers.
- Build executive relationships at financial institutions, platforms, and compliance-heavy enterprises.
- Work with Product and Engineering to turn market feedback into roadmap priorities.
- Own the BD budget, CRM, and pipeline reporting.
- Represent VeryAI at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
- Track emerging opportunities in digital authenticity, AI regulation, and enterprise tech.
