Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law; international legal competency is preferred. Minimum 5 years of professional experience in international corporate, financial, regulatory, or IT law, ideally within blockchain technology, fintech, or digital asset markets. Proven experience in: -Establishing and supporting foreign corporate entities across multiple jurisdictions. -Managing licensing projects involving MiCA, VASP, EMI, PSP, or similar regulatory frameworks. -Corporate and tax planning and international structuring. -Drafting and revising foreign economic contracts, service agreements, NDAs, Terms of Use, Privacy Policies, and other corporate documents. -Drafting license and IP agreements and GDPR documentation. Excellent command of international law and deep understanding of EU regulatory frameworks, including MiCA, DORA, and AMLD5/6. Advanced level of English, particularly in legal drafting, negotiations, and regulatory correspondence. Excellent analytical and legal writing skills, with high attention to detail. Strong professional ethics, responsibility, and time management. Team player with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset and the ability to independently manage complex legal and regulatory matters. Responsibilities Licensing & Regulatory Compliance: Provide legal support for obtaining MiCA and VASP licenses across multiple EU and EEA jurisdictions and onboarding new regions. Advise the business on MiCA licensing, DORA requirements, and other applicable regulatory obligations. Manage the preparation, review, and submission of filings, applications, and regulatory correspondence to authorities. Coordinate with local lawyers and regulators, maintain licenses, manage renewals and periodic reporting, and support negotiations with regulatory authorities. Develop and implement internal AML/CFT and KYC programs in line with FATF, EU AMLDs, and local legislation. Analyze regulatory requirements across jurisdictions and ensure alignment of business processes, internal policies, and documentation with applicable requirements. Monitor legal and regulatory developments at EU and national levels and assess their operational and business impact. Contracts, Data Protection & General Legal Support: Draft, negotiate, and review commercial agreements, partnership contracts, NDAs, service agreements, Terms of Use, Privacy Policies, and other documentation. Advise on data protection and privacy matters, including GDPR and the UK DPA, particularly regarding KYC and financial data processing. Provide legal opinions and perform due diligence investigations of counterparties and partners. Contribute to strategic business development by identifying legal and regulatory opportunities, optimizing legal structures, and supporting international expansion. Corporate Structuring & International Projects: Handle the incorporation and ongoing management of companies across multiple EU, EEA, and other jurisdictions. Develop and support international corporate structures in cooperation with tax advisers and local legal counsel. Draft and file corporate documentation, including resolutions, powers of attorney, articles, protocols, and letters, in English for execution and legalization. Coordinate local lawyers and external advisers across jurisdictions and oversee the timely completion of corporate and regulatory deliverables. Would be a plus Relevant certifications in AML/CFT, financial compliance, or digital asset regulation, such as ACAMS, ICA, Risk & Regulation, or equivalent, or training in MiCA and DORA regulatory frameworks. Experience working directly with regulators, financial institutions, or payment systems such as Visa or Mastercard. Strong knowledge of corporate governance, cross-border tax structuring, and investment law. Background in data protection, smart contracts, or tokenization projects.
