Requirements 5+ years in analytics at a Trading Desk, CEX, prop trading or market-making firm - not bank BI analytics Deep hands-on knowledge of trading mechanics: P&L attribution, spread, slippage, funding rates, quoting uptime, inventory exposure - candidate knows these metrics from practice, not from textbooks Python - mandatory: pandas, numpy, report automation, exchange API data processing SQL - advanced: window functions, CTEs, time-series aggregations Tableau - proficient: calculated fields, blending, workbook publishing Grafana - operational dashboard design, alert configuration Track record of building P&L, position, and operational reports from scratch for a trading desk Ability to define the right KPIs independently without extensive onboarding Understanding of crypto exchange mechanics: derivatives, futures, spot/perp Responsibilities Build and own management reporting - independently, from week one Configure and maintain dashboards for real-time operational monitoring with alerting Audit existing dashboards and correct inaccurate metrics - including restoring broken monitors Independently define KPIs: proposes the structure, does not only execute tasks Formulate data requirements and pass requests to the tech team Support the reporting cycle (daily / weekly / quarterly) with direct interaction with desk heads Document calculation methodology and standardise metric definitions Would be a plus Experience working with market makers or institutional liquidity providers Familiarity with major CEX platforms (OKX, Binance, Bybit) Experience integrating external market datasets Working terms Immerse yourself in Crypto & Web3: Master cutting-edge technologies and become an expert in the most innovative industry.
