Company Bitkub Blockchain Technology Team Development Employee Type Full-Time Apply Now Own the automated test strategy across our mobile apps (Flutter, iOS & Android), web applications, and APIs. Build and maintain reliable test suites that run in CI on every change - and own the pipelines they run in. Partner with developers and product to shift quality left, cut manual regression effort, and keep releases fast and safe.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the automation framework across mobile, web, and API layers - shared abstractions, reusable fixtures, test data factories, stable locators
• Build and maintain automated suites for mobile (Patrol, Maestro), web (Playwright or Cypress), and API (REST/GraphQL, incl. negative and contract cases)
• Own the test stages of CI/CD pipelines: parallel execution, quality gates, reporting, and test environment management
• Write component and visual regression tests together with developers; review their test code in PRs
• Drive down flakiness - root-cause and fix unstable tests rather than retrying blindly
• Manage execution targets: real devices and emulators (Firebase Test Lab, BrowserStack) and browser grids
• Define and report quality metrics: automation coverage, flake rate, suite runtime, escaped defects
• Write test plans; run exploratory testing on new features before automating
• Verify release candidates (TestFlight / Play internal testing / web staging) and run release sign-off
• Own the bug lifecycle: reproduce, isolate, report with logs and recordings, verify fixes, track regressions
• Advocate for testability in architecture - test IDs, deterministic state, DI that supports mocking
• Mentor junior QA; raise testability concerns early in grooming and design review
• Use AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor) to accelerate test authoring and maintenance - with human review as a non-negotiable gate

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Flutter/Dart specifically; golden/visual regression testing
• Performance testing (app start time, Core Web Vitals, k6/JMeter)
• Docker and containerized test environments
• Security testing awareness (OWASP Top 10 / MASVS, certificate pinning)
• Fintech or blockchain experience; PDPA awareness
• Test management tooling (TestRail, Xray, Zephyr)

Qualification

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or related field - or equivalent practical experience
• 3+ years hands-on building and maintaining test automation
• Proven automation experience in at least two of: mobile, web, API - with willingness to cover all three
• Hands-on experience writing test code in at least one of TypeScript, Dart, or Python
• Demonstrated ownership of automation inside CI/CD pipelines - configuring, maintaining, and debugging the jobs, not just writing tests
• Solid test design judgment: risk-based prioritization, and knowing when automation isn't worth the cost
• Strong debugging skills; able to tell app bug from test bug from environment issue
• Git proficiency in a PR-based workflow
