Key Responsibilities

• Define and perform testing across web, mobile, and API layers, covering both functional and non-functional aspects. Prioritize test coverage based on product risk and business impact
• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts for UI and API using tools such as Playwright.
• Review requirements and designs early to identify risks and gaps before development starts.
• Identify, document, and track defects through to closure, working with developers to analyze root causes.
• Support release activities by validating test results and verifying functionality after deployment to production.
• Improve testing tools, methodologies, and efficiency while maintaining detailed documentation and providing regular progress reports.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and provide technical guidance on testing practices.

Qualifications & Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with hands-on automation experience.
• Experience testing across web, mobile, and API layers.
• Hands-on with at least one automation framework for UI or API testing (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, Robot Framework), and familiarity with mobile automation tools (e.g., Appium, Espresso).
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Aptitude and desire to learn new skills and concepts.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience testing mobile applications built with Flutter or React Native.
• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., k6, JMeter).
