About the Role

Day-to-day scope for the Product Manager as described in the posting:

As the Product Manager for Payment Platform, you will serve as the core architect for the "brains" of the payment engine. Based in Indonesia, you will own the internal intelligence and automated logic of a multi-currency payment platform.

What You Will Do

  • Identify market opportunities and establish a shared product vision and roadmap to achieve business strategy.
  • Lead the ideation, research, design, and launch of customer-centric products, writing detailed product specifications and documenting user stories.
  • Build alignment across product teams, leadership, and partners in Commercial, Operations, Compliance, and Engineering.
  • Define and analyze metrics to monitor product health, and design/interpret experiments and/or A/B tests to improve the user funnel.
  • Work closely with developers to design user acceptance test cases and drive development with a world-class team of engineers and designers.

What We Are Looking For

  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in Payment Product Management.
  • Ability to quickly absorb technical concepts, familiarity with SQL, and the skill to communicate complex ideas to non-technical audiences.
  • A proven track record of delivering measurable results and the willingness to "roll up one's sleeves" to solve complex customer problems.
  • Strong ability to influence people across functions and the outspokenness to escalate concerns and facilitate stakeholder discussions before they become issues.
  • A deep care for getting the details right to ship best-in-class products and a thorough understanding of every step in the product funnel.

Build a standout application

For the Product Manager at StraitsX, reviewers look for concise evidence over buzzwords. Mirror the language of the posting sparingly, quantify support or delivery outcomes, and show how you handled ambiguity, time-zone collaboration and user empathy. Keep your resume to impact, keep your cover note to one page, and link to artifacts — tickets resolved, docs shipped, dashboards owned — that prove you can operate in a fast-moving Web3 team. Prepare to discuss a time you turned a confusing user report into a clear fix and how you measure quality in support and operations.

Web3 hiring values reliability: on-time follow-through, clear writing, and a track record of improving runbooks and tooling. Treat the application as a work sample. For interviews, be ready to walk through how you prioritize across time zones, handle a difficult user, and decide when to escalate versus resolve directly. Show how you document decisions so the next teammate benefits.

In a distributed Web3 org, trust builds through written clarity. Use the cover note to demonstrate it.
