Working across three continents in eight countries, Notabene is a remote-first and globally distributed team of 50 employees on a mission to make cryptocurrency a part of the everyday economy. As a regulation technology (reg-tech) company, crypto organizations and traditional financial institutions alike use our tools to reduce transaction risk and make crypto transfers safe.

In October 2024, we announced our $14.5M Series B, led by DRW. This fundraise signals our exciting trajectory of success as we continue to be the leading global platform and network for compliant crypto transactions.

The Impact You Will Have

As a Business Development Representative, you’ll be on the front line of Notabene’s growth. We are looking for high-energy, motivated professionals with sound business insight and natural sales instincts.

Your work directly impacts pipeline creation, sales velocity, outbound sales processes improvements, and market expansion, making you a critical contributor to Notabene’s success as we scale globally.

You Will

You’ll own early-stage prospect engagement and help build a predictable, scalable outbound motion. Specifically, you will:

  • Build and manage a pipeline of prospective customers through outbound efforts
  • Use a data-driven approach to outbound sales that incorporates prospecting, personalized emails, LinkedIn, and calling
  • Qualify opportunities by identifying customer pain points and mapping them to Notabene’s value proposition
  • Partner closely with Account Executives to strategically penetrate target accounts
  • Maintain accurate activity tracking, notes, and data hygiene in HubSpot
  • Represent Notabene at industry events, conferences, and private meetings (travel might be required)

Within a Year, You Are Successful If

  • You consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly opportunity and pipeline targets
  • You’ve built a strong understanding of Notabene’s product, customers, and regulatory landscape
  • You’ve contributed to improving outbound messaging, targeting, or processes
  • You are progressing toward the next stage of your sales career at Notabene

You Have

  • A strong desire to grow a career in B2B sales
  • Experience as a BDR/SDR in a customer-facing commercial role (reg-tech/crypto a plus, not required)
  • Comfort with cold calling and outbound prospecting at scale
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate value clearly
  • A data-driven mindset and comfort working in fast-paced, high-growth environments
  • Curiosity, resilience, and ownership

Benefits

What the posting highlights about the offer:

  • Flexible Remote Work: Work from anywhere!
  • $1000 WFH Stipend: Use within your first year of employment.
  • MacBook Pro: Procured by you and your manager to find a model that meets your needs.
  • Unlimited PTO: We trust you to take as much holiday as you need.
  • Country-Specific Benefits: Statutory offerings and contributions, managed via our employer-of-record.

Build a standout application

For the Business Development Representative at Notabene, reviewers look for concise evidence over buzzwords. Mirror the language of the posting sparingly, quantify support or delivery outcomes, and show how you handled ambiguity, time-zone collaboration and user empathy. Keep your resume to impact, keep your cover note to one page, and link to artifacts — tickets resolved, docs shipped, dashboards owned — that prove you can operate in a fast-moving Web3 team. Prepare to discuss a time you turned a confusing user report into a clear fix and how you measure quality in support and operations.

Web3 hiring values reliability: on-time follow-through, clear writing, and a track record of improving runbooks and tooling. Treat the application as a work sample. For interviews, be ready to walk through how you prioritize across time zones, handle a difficult user, and decide when to escalate versus resolve directly. Show how you document decisions so the next teammate benefits.

In a distributed Web3 org, trust builds through written clarity. Use the cover note to demonstrate it.
