GoMining is hiring a Consumer Research Manager in Marketing — Cyprus / Georgia / Poland / Spain / Serbia / Latvia. The overview below is synthesized from the employer posting on apply.workable.com: factual requirements and scope are preserved, but prose is rewritten with editorial context. Verify details and apply via the employer link.
As Consumer Research Manager, you are the consumer insights function for GoMining marketing. You report directly to the CMO and work in a pair with the Brand Director: you produce the evidence, together you produce the brand strategy.
You will establish the baseline that brand OKRs are set against, and you will own the research programme from question to decision — including the agencies who execute it.
Responsibilities
Day-to-day scope for the Consumer Research Manager as described in the posting:
- Build and own the consumer research programme: market sizing, segmentation, consumer usage & attitudes, brand health tracking, brand lift and more.
- Establish the brand and category baseline: awareness, consideration, differentiation, trust and barriers — by market and segment.
- Run concept, proposition, messaging and creative testing for brand and GTM launches, before spending commits.
- Own audience segmentation and the personas the whole marketing function uses — and keep them alive rather than filed.
- Run qualitative work directly where speed matters: user interviews, focus groups, community listening.
- Own research vendor relationships and briefs (brand trackers and ad-hoc studies), including scope, cost and quality control.
- Combine attitudinal research with behavioural and performance data from shared analytics colleagues to explain why, not just what.
- Track the competitive and category landscape as a standing input, not an occasional deck.
- Turn findings into decisions: recommendations that name the trade-off, not reports that describe the market.
- Build the measurement framework that makes brand and marketing OKRs verifiable quarter over quarter.
- 5+ years in consumer insights, market research or brand strategy — client-side, agency-side or both.
- Hands-on experience running brand health trackers and U&A studies: you have written the questionnaire, not only read the report.
- Strong quantitative skills — sampling, significance, weighting — and genuine qualitative craft.
- Experience managing research agencies and briefing them well enough to get useful output.
- You translate data into a recommendation and defend it in a room with commercial leaders.
- Experience with multi-market research and the comparability problems it creates.
- Experience building an insights function from zero.
- Fluent English.
Nice to Have
Additional experience noted as a plus:
- Crypto, fintech or investment-product category experience.
- Familiarity with product analytics tools and working alongside data teams.
- Professional growth: support for courses, conferences, and English learning (up to 100% coverage).
- Work-life fit: remote or hybrid format with flexible hours across international teams.
- Paid leave: up to 20 vacation days + 8 company holidays + 5 personal days per year
- Recognition programs: structured performance reviews and team awards.
- Team culture: retreats in international locations (for example, company apartments in Cyprus).
Build a standout application
For the Consumer Research Manager at GoMining, reviewers look for concise evidence over buzzwords. Mirror the language of the posting sparingly, quantify support or delivery outcomes, and show how you handled ambiguity, time-zone collaboration and user empathy. Keep your resume to impact, keep your cover note to one page, and link to artifacts — tickets resolved, docs shipped, dashboards owned — that prove you can operate in a fast-moving Web3 team. Prepare to discuss a time you turned a confusing user report into a clear fix and how you measure quality in support and operations.
Web3 hiring values reliability: on-time follow-through, clear writing, and a track record of improving runbooks and tooling. Treat the application as a work sample. For interviews, be ready to walk through how you prioritize across time zones, handle a difficult user, and decide when to escalate versus resolve directly. Show how you document decisions so the next teammate benefits.
In a distributed Web3 org, trust builds through written clarity. Use the cover note to demonstrate it.
