Responsibilities
Day-to-day scope for the Intern - Application Management as described in the posting:
- Platform support: Help monitor the trading and core banking applications and assist in logging and tracking issues.
- Incident support: Assist the second-line team in triaging, documenting, and following up on production incidents, learning root cause analysis along the way.
- Release support: Help prepare and document platform releases, and track change-control steps with the Cloud, engineering, and delivery teams.
- Client onboarding support: Assist with client conformance testing and maintain onboarding documentation.
- Configuration support: Help maintain platform and application settings under supervision.
- Ticket & backlog hygiene: Keep tickets accurate and the backlog well-organized in Jira.
- Testing: Support test preparation and execution for platform changes.
- Documentation & knowledge management: Maintain and improve platform documentation and the team knowledge base in Confluence.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, finance, or a related field
- Genuine interest in trading systems, financial technology, or digital assets
- Basic understanding of how software systems connect and communicate (e.g., APIs; FIX, REST a plus)
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and well-organized, with a strong willingness to learn
- Clear written and spoken communication in English
