IT Administrator

ParisPosted today

Job Description

Zama builds privacy infrastructure for onchain finance, and the way we run our own systems needs to reflect that. As the company scales, we are building out a dedicated IT function with security at its core. We are looking for an IT Administrator to join our IT lead, share ownership of the function, and make sure the team gets fast, reliable support while the longer-term security projects keep moving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day IT support: Handle help desk requests across the company, from device issues to access problems, and resolve them quickly and clearly. Be the person colleagues trust to get them back to work.
  • Manage the Mac fleet: Provision, configure, maintain, and retire company Macs. Keep devices patched, compliant, and consistently configured through Jamf.
  • Drive the Jamf and Okta rollouts: Support the deployment of device management and identity tooling across the company, including onboarding users, handling the questions and issues each rollout generates, and refining configurations as we learn.
  • Run identity and access management: Manage onboarding and offboarding, application access, and permissions in Okta, with least-privilege and security best practices as the default.
  • Automate the repetitive: Identify recurring help desk requests and reduce them through automation, self-service, and better documentation.
  • Strengthen our security posture: Contribute to IT security projects alongside our IT lead, and bring a security mindset to every change you make to our systems.
  • Document and improve: Build and maintain clear internal documentation and processes so the IT function scales with the company.

Preferred Experience

  • 5-8 years of experience in an IT administrator or similar role.
  • Hands-on experience managing a Mac fleet.
  • Experience with Jamf and/or Okta; experience with both is a strong plus.
  • A strong security mindset, with an instinct for least privilege, device compliance, and protecting company and user data.
  • Experience in a fast-moving startup or scale-up environment, where priorities shift and you balance reactive support with longer-term projects.
  • Professional fluency in English (C1 minimum). Bilingual French/English is strongly preferred.
  • Clear, patient communication with colleagues of all technical levels, written and verbal.
  • Based in Europe, ideally in Paris.

Nice-to-have

  • Jamf certifications.
  • Experience scripting or automating IT workflows.
  • A degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
