F1 Practice and Sprint Qualifying

About the event
Friday's Formula 1 program at the 2026 Singapore Grand Prix includes the first practice session and Sprint Qualifying at the Marina Bay Street Circuit.
Friday, 9 October
The track program runs on local Singapore time, eight hours ahead of UTC: Porsche Carrera Cup Asia practice at 14:05-14:50, the Formula 1 car presentation at 15:00-16:00, the first practice session at 16:30-17:30, the teams' press conference at 18:30-19:30, and Sprint Qualifying at 20:30-21:14. The Porsche Carrera Cup Asia support series shares the Friday program with its practice session.
Circuit
The race takes place over 62 laps of the 4.927-kilometre Marina Bay Street Circuit. The official timetable is subject to change.
The Marina Bay Circuit arrived on the scene in 2008 with the city skyline as its backdrop, hosting the first night-time race in Formula 1 history. After a 2023 layout change the lap runs 19 corners over 4.927 kilometres, and the bumpy street surface plus humidity make it one of the most physically demanding races on the calendar.
Following the weekend
The sessions can be followed live on F1 TV, with tickets and hospitality packages available through Formula 1 official channels.
