Jr Financial Controller

We are a fast-growing international men's grooming brand based in Tel Aviv, serving customers primarily in the US market.

We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to take ownership of the company's financial operations, reporting, controls, and compliance. This is a hands-on role with broad responsibility across financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, cash flow, taxation, and inventory accounting.

The Financial Controller will work closely with the company's leadership team and department heads, providing accurate financial information and insights to support business decisions and continued growth.

This is an on-site, 5 days a week from our Tel Aviv offices position.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and reporting processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
• Oversee cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to support the company's ongoing operations and growth.
• Develop and maintain effective financial controls, processes, and reporting procedures to ensure accuracy and safeguard company assets.
• Manage the annual audit process and work closely with external auditors, accountants, and tax advisors.
  
• Oversee financial and tax compliance in Israel and the US, including US sales tax, state and federal tax requirements.
• Provide management with financial analysis and business insights, including KPIs, profitability analysis, financial trends, and performance drivers.
• Oversee inventory-related financial processes, including monthly inventory controls, inventory valuation, pricing reviews, and COGS calculations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA certified.
• 2+ years of experience at one of the Big Four accounting firms - required.
• Experience in retail, or e-commerce industries is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Priority software is highly preferred.
• Ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to identify financial issues, analyze potential solutions, and implement effective changes.
• Hands-on, independent, and proactive approach, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
