As a Senior Android Developer, you’ll build and own new product features for the Robinhood Wallet Android app. You will develop reliable and secure solutions to deliver a high-quality trading experience for cryptocurrencies and tokenized stocks, including perpetual futures, to customers worldwide.

What you’ll do
Day-to-day scope for the Senior Android Engineer, Wallet as described in the posting:
- Build intuitive, elegant, and stable mobile experiences using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and modern Android APIs.
- Lead the full lifecycle of product features — from ideation and technical design to implementation, testing, and release.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, product designers, backend engineers, and data scientists to create impactful solutions.
- Champion mobile development standards and code review processes that ensure high quality, scalability, and maintainability.
- Mentor other developers and help elevate team standards and collaboration.
What you bring
- 5+ years of professional experience developing Android applications.
- Proficiency with Kotlin and/or Java, and a strong grasp of Android SDK and architecture patterns like MVVM.
- Experience using Jetpack Compose, Coroutines & Flow or RxJava, and libraries such as Retrofit and Room.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with a product-focused perspective.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor peers, lead complex projects, and influence architecture decisions.

Additional experience noted as a plus:
- Experience working for a DeFi protocol, a crypto wallet company, or another blockchain-related company.
