ABOUT THE ROLE

At LayerZero, our Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team is at the intersection of software and systems engineering, dedicated to crafting and maintaining large-scale, resilient systems. Our goal is to ensure that all LayerZero services—ranging from critical internal systems to those external users interact with—are reliable, meet the uptime expectations of our users, and continuously evolve at a swift pace.
Our software development efforts aim to enhance system efficiency, develop robust infrastructure, and reduce manual workload through automation. As a member of the SRE team, you'll tackle the unique challenges of scaling at LayerZero.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Day-to-day scope for the Site Reliability Engineer as described in the posting:
- Build, monitor, and maintain blockchain node infrastructure for a variety of DLTs, ensuring reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with product and platform engineers to proactively address reliability, scalability, and observability.
- Develop scalable infrastructure using code, with a focus on Kubernetes Helm charts.
- Automate incident detection, triage, and resolution processes.
- Participate in the on-call rotation for systems owned by the team.
ABOUT YOU
