Edge City

Monthlong popup society incubator

GlobalFounded 2024edgecity.live

Edge City runs temporary villages that pack a few hundred residents into shared housing, meals, workouts, and co-creation for about a month at a time. Each village is designed as a society incubator rather than a conference: the point is living together, not just attending talks. Locations rotate globally, so the brand is the format more than any single permanent campus.

Hosts monthlong popup villages where frontier tech, science, and culture people live and build together. Edge City emphasizes four core principles:. Building and co-creating where everyone contributes. Multidisciplinary connections for breakthroughs.

Healthy by default environments with meals and workouts. Multigenerational inclusion for families and elders. High-agency builders at the forefront of technology, science, and societal governance. Eager minds that excel within innovative, interdisciplinary environments.

Founders, scientists, urban planners, researchers, engineers, philosophers, storytellers. Families with kids and elders are also welcome at Edge City's villages. Past attendees include Vitalik Buterin, Grimes, and Laura Deming.
