About The Role

We're looking for a Senior Video Editor & Motion Designer with exceptional visual taste, outstanding storytelling instincts, and deep experience creating premium YouTube and social-first content.

This is a video-first role where around 70% of your time will be spent editing long- and short-form content, while the remaining 30% will be dedicated to motion design, building reusable motion systems, branded graphics, and visual assets that make BeInCrypto instantly recognizable.

Beyond editing, you'll help define how our brand moves across YouTube, social media, editorial content, research, events, and product marketing, setting a premium visual standard seen by millions of viewers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

Edit around 1-2 long-form videos (podcasts, interviews, educational content) and 2-4 short-form videos (Shorts, Reels, X, LinkedIn and other social platforms) per week.
Transform raw footage into polished stories through pacing, rhythm, structure, and strong editorial judgment.
Create motion assets including intros, lower thirds, animated typography, transitions, data visualizations, captions, callouts, and branded graphic elements.
Produce original supporting visual assets - including motion graphics, AI-generated footage, animated backgrounds, and other branded visuals - without relying solely on stock resources.
Maintain and evolve BeInCrypto's motion language across YouTube and all social channels.
Adapt content for different platforms while understanding the storytelling, pacing, and technical requirements of each.
Collaborate with designers, editors, copywriters, and marketers to ensure visual consistency across every video.
Contribute ideas for new video formats, editing approaches, and motion systems - not just execute existing concepts.
Use AI tools throughout the production process to accelerate ideation, asset creation, editing, and post-production.

You are the perfect match if you

Have 5+ years of professional video editing and motion design experience, with a portfolio showcasing premium long- and short-form work.
Have exceptional visual taste, strong typography, composition, pacing, and storytelling instincts.
Understand YouTube best practices (retention, podcasts, interviews, Shorts).
Can independently drive creative direction and produce original motion assets that extend an existing visual identity.
Are highly proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, and in After Effects.
Have solid audio post-production skills (dialogue cleanup, leveling, noise reduction) and can own projects end-to-end with minimal supervision.
Have hands-on experience with AI tools (Runway, Midjourney, Veo, Firefly, ElevenLabs, or similar) in a professional creative workflow.
Have basic Figma skills and experience working within established brand systems.
Understand crypto and finance topics well enough to craft informed storytelling.
Are fluent in English.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications

Experience with Blender/3D workflows, sound design and audio mixing, and Riverside (remote recording).
Experience creating content for media, finance, technology, crypto, or Web3 companies.

You'll be working with the Multimedia Global Newsroom department and the Creative team. Your manager will be the Chief Global Strategy Officer. This team shapes our brand's identity and drives its visibility. They craft stunning visuals, like website layouts, article covers, and graphics, and build our presence through social media and content marketing. Every beautiful image and impactful message you see is their creative masterpiece.
