About the Role

Day-to-day scope for the Brand Design Lead as described in the posting:

We are hiring a Brand Design Lead to own and evolve 0G's visual identity and brand expression across product, web, social, events, and marketing campaigns. This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who can set creative direction and execute it.

You will work closely with marketing, communications, and leadership to translate brand strategy into consistent visual systems and compelling storytelling across every public-facing surface.

Responsibilities

Day-to-day scope for the Brand Design Lead as described in the posting:

  • Own and evolve 0G's brand identity, including typography, color, imagery, motion, and illustration
  • Build and maintain a scalable brand system: guidelines, templates, and reusable components for use across teams
  • Ensure brand consistency across web, social, events, content, and presentations
  • Translate brand and marketing strategy into clear visual systems and narrative-driven creative
  • Lead creative development for product launches, campaigns, community activations, and ecosystem events
  • Design or direct social graphics, video content, website updates, keynote decks, and event collateral
  • Partner with leadership on narrative and positioning, contributing to how the story is shaped rather than only how it is produced
  • Manage and direct external vendors, freelancers, and agencies as needed

Requirements

Experience and skills the team lists as required:

  • Senior-level experience in brand design, brand communications, or creative direction
  • Experience at a leading brand agency or a globally recognized company
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating identity systems, campaign creative, storytelling, and high-quality visual execution across both digital and physical formats
  • Proven ability to partner with senior stakeholders and contribute to brand narrative and strategy
  • Comfortable working at pace in a startup environment with shifting priorities
  • Fluent in industry-standard design tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite)

Preferred qualifications

Experience and skills the team lists as required:

  • Experience in consumer-facing or growth-focused brand work
  • Background in crypto, AI, or developer-focused products
  • Motion design, 3D, or video direction capability
  • Experience supporting PR, event marketing, or integrated campaigns

What we offer

What the posting highlights about the offer:

  • Purpose: The opportunity to contribute to making AI a public good
  • Growth: A self-directed environment where you can take initiative to shape your role and career
  • Compensation: Market-competitive compensation including, for most roles, exposure to pre-launch tokens

In addition, 0G Labs is committed to the health and well being of all of our team members. To that end, we provide reimbursements towards a holistic set of experiences and courses:

  • Body: Fitness, gym and exercise memberships/classes

Build a standout application

For the Brand Design Lead at 0G Labs, reviewers look for concise evidence over buzzwords. Mirror the language of the posting sparingly, quantify support or delivery outcomes, and show how you handled ambiguity, time-zone collaboration and user empathy. Keep your resume to impact, keep your cover note to one page, and link to artifacts — tickets resolved, docs shipped, dashboards owned — that prove you can operate in a fast-moving Web3 team. Prepare to discuss a time you turned a confusing user report into a clear fix and how you measure quality in support and operations.

Web3 hiring values reliability: on-time follow-through, clear writing, and a track record of improving runbooks and tooling. Treat the application as a work sample. For interviews, be ready to walk through how you prioritize across time zones, handle a difficult user, and decide when to escalate versus resolve directly. Show how you document decisions so the next teammate benefits.

In a distributed Web3 org, trust builds through written clarity. Use the cover note to demonstrate it.
