Requirements Strong proficiency in PHP with extensive hands-on experience using Laravel Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL, including data modeling, complex queries, indexing, and performance optimization Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SOLID principles, and clean code practices Practical experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD), including bounded contexts, aggregates, value objects, and domain services Good knowledge and practical application of software design patterns Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs, including versioning, authentication, authorization, and error handling Understanding of high-load / high-traffic systems, including scalability, fault tolerance, and performance considerations Experience with asynchronous processing: queues, background jobs, scheduled tasks (Laravel Queues, Horizon or similar) Familiarity with caching strategies (Redis, in-memory caching) and rate limiting Strong focus on automated testing: unit tests, feature/integration tests (PHPUnit / Pest) Experience with transactional logic, data consistency, and rollback strategies Understanding of observability basics: logging, monitoring, error tracking Experience working with Git and modern branching strategies Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments Ability to write clear technical documentation and collaborate with cross-functional teams Experience with high-load or fintech projects Knowledge of message brokers or event-driven architectures Experience with containerized environments (Docker) and cloud infrastructure Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain backend services using PHP and Laravel Develop and support RESTful APIs used by internal and external clients Participate in system and domain design, applying OOP, DDD, and appropriate design patterns Implement and maintain asynchronous processes, including queues, background jobs, and scheduled tasks Work with PostgreSQL: schema design, query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and improve system reliability Write and maintain automated tests (unit, feature, and integration tests) Ensure data consistency, transactional safety, and proper error handling Participate in code reviews and maintain high code quality standards Collaborate closely with product managers, frontend developers, and other backend engineers Take part in planning, estimation, and implementation of roadmap features Support production systems, investigate incidents, and participate in post-incident improvements Contribute to reducing technical debt and improving development processes Proactively suggest architectural and technical improvements Share knowledge and best practices within the team Working terms Achieve Big Goals With Us!
