Devcon Assassin
About the event
Devcon Assassin: Mumbai Edition is a week-long social deduction and strategy game taking place across Devcon 8 and India Blockchain Week from Tuesday, November 3, through Saturday, November 7, 2026. The real-world stealth game turns conference networking into an interactive adventure.
What to expect
Players register on the live game app and receive secret assignments:
- Each participant is assigned a secret target among registered players attending the conference.
- Players must track down their target in conference halls, side events, or networking mixers and tag them discreetly using non-contact game mechanics or clothesline pegs.
- When a target is eliminated, their assignment transfers to the assassin.
- A live digital leaderboard tracks top eliminations, bounties, and survival rankings throughout the week.
- The game culminates in an awards ceremony with hardware wallets, ecosystem bounties, and bragging rights.
Who should attend
The game is open to all registered Devcon 8 and side-event attendees who want to break the ice, meet new developers from around the world, and add fun strategy to conference week.
Venue and schedule
The game operates across the Jio World Centre and official Devcon side event venues in Mumbai from November 3 through November 7, 2026.
