As a Trading Intern, you'll work closely with our teams to learn about different types of trading strategies, ranging from Market Making in Oil Products to Fundamental Discretionary approaches in Gas & Power. We aim to have you rotate on at least 2 desks to give you the chance to explore what trading style fits best with your skill set.
You will be mentored by both senior and junior traders, with constant exposure to senior leadership. We foster a culture that encourages cross desk cooperation.
Requirements
Experience and skills the team lists as required:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field and expected to graduate by Summer 2028
- Strong interest in trading and model development
- High level of proficiency with Python and Excel
- Strong work ethic and ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting
- Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new concepts
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work onsite at our New York office 5 days a week
Compensation: $45.00 per hour
