This role combines partner relationship management revenue generation. You’ll work daily with regional sales teams.

As the successful candidate, you will have experience in sales or partner management in the high-tech or payments industry, preferably with experience working with Platform or independent software vendor (ISV) partnerships. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and apply diagnostic thinking about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions, and work cross-organizationally.

Responsibilities

Day-to-day scope for the Communities Partner Development Manager, SaaS Platforms as described in the posting:

  • Identify, qualify, and manage a portfolio of Platforms across AMER
  • Work with cross-functional technical teams to ensure these partners integrate properly with Stripe for go-to-market efforts
  • Optimize partner performance through partner plans and business reviews
  • Identify opportunities to expand revenue and deploy joint sales approaches with top partners and regional sales teams
  • Work with program, marketing, and sales teams to execute partner programs, events, sales engagement, and build playbooks and collateral that help partners sell effectively
  • Report to key stakeholders on a regular cadence, using a diagnostic approach and clear communication

Minimum requirements

  • 8 or more years of experience in partnerships or sales within high-tech or financial services organizations
  • Successful track record of directly managing Platform or ISV partnerships
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets, negotiate high-value deals with C-level audiences, and influence outcomes
  • Knowledge of payment or financial-services technology, industry trends, and the competitive landscape
  • Bachelor’s degree and willingness to travel
