Day-to-day scope for the Data Center Electrician, Vega as described in the posting:
The Data Center Electrician is responsible for overseeing and executing complex electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance. This role requires advanced knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety procedures.
We are looking to hire an experienced and certified Electrician to complete various projects and tasks as needed at various facilities and maintain our day-to-day
operational excellence. This is an essential role in our rapidly expanding infrastructure.
Some of the key responsibilities you should expect are the following:
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems and components, including wiring, circuit breakers, outlets, and lighting systems.
- Conduct regular inspections and tests to ensure system functionality
- Plan and manage electrical projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating with other trades and contractors
- Conduct extensive work on pad mounted transformers (PMTs) to include Dissolved Gas Analysis (DGA) Test prep, IR scans, ensuring proper torquing standards are met, etc.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations
- Work closely with operations staff and facility managers to optimize repairs and maintenance efforts while also helping to develop and grow with other electricians
across the company
- Possess deep experience with 3-phase electrical systems.
- PLC Programming a plus, but not required
- Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues in commercial and industrial settings.
- Implement and enforce safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all team members
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including inspections, repairs, and installations
- On-call electrician for all our facilities, 24/7
ABOUT YOU

- High school diploma or equivalent
