Riot is seeking a Custodian to join our team working from our Rockdale, Texas facility and help maintain a clean, safe, and organized workplace environment. In this role, you will perform routine cleaning duties across assigned areas, including trash removal, floor care, sanitizing office spaces, restocking supplies, and maintaining custodial equipment.
What you’ll be doing
- Perform routine custodial duties throughout assigned facilities, including disposing of trash, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors, stocking and organizing supplies, and maintaining custodial equipment.
- Ensure the proper use, care, and maintenance of cleaning equipment and supplies while promoting workplace safety and environmental best practices.
- Clean windows and sanitize office surfaces on a daily basis.
- Perform periodic deep cleaning and complete seasonal or special cleaning projects as assigned.
- Complete other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
What you’ll have
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred, but not required.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow safety policies and procedures.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective time management, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality while working in office and restricted areas.
Licensing & Background Requirements
- Valid driver's license required.
- This position is subject to a background check as a condition of employment.
