Bitcoin.com is hiring a Commercial Content Editor (Remote - APAC) in Marketing — Philippines, Philippines, Philippines. The overview below is synthesized from the employer posting on bitcoin.bamboohr.com: factual requirements and scope are preserved, but prose is rewritten with editorial context. Verify details and apply via the employer link.

With millions of wallets created and a global audience, Bitcoin.com is one of the world's leading crypto content and onboarding platforms. This role will both write commercial content directly and take ownership of ensuring all commercial/sponsored content meets our editorial and compliance guidelines.

Location: Remote (APAC/MENA preferred; Europe also considered)

Key Responsibilities

Day-to-day scope for the Commercial Content Editor (Remote - APAC) as described in the posting:

  • Write and edit commercial content across formats: Branded Spotlight Articles, Product & Project Reviews, Sponsored Learning Center guides, Written Interview Articles, social content (X, Telegram, LinkedIn), newsletter sponsorship content, and review of display/banner ad creatives, with scope expanding as new commercial products launch
  • Own guideline compliance for commercial content, via periodic audits and spot checks on published material (rather than pre-approving every piece)
  • Route specialist content; Learning Center, casino/igaming, and research reports; to writers with relevant subject-matter expertise, in line with EEAT best practice, rather than producing all of it personally
  • Propose guideline updates to Marketing/Legal leadership when edge cases arise
  • Evaluate requests from Sales/BD for exceptions to guidelines on business grounds, and escalate reasonable cases to the Head of BD for further review
  • Manage and prioritize a growing volume of commercial content requests, coordinating with editorial, design, and Sales/BD

What This Role Is Not

  • A pure writer role, this position includes review, compliance ownership, and process-building
  • A guarantor of pre-approval on every piece of content (compliance is enforced via audits, not blanket approval)
  • Responsible for producing all specialist content personally (Learning Center, casino, research reports route to subject-matter writers)

What We Are Looking For

Required

  • Senior-level experience in fast-paced media, publishing, or content operations
  • Track record owning editorial or compliance standards across a team or content pipeline
  • Strong judgment balancing business/sponsor needs against brand and compliance risk
  • Comfortable being the point of contact between Sales/BD, Marketing, News, and Legal/Compliance
  • Strong writing and editing ability across commercial/sponsored formats
  • 5+ years in content, editorial, or media roles, with meaningful people/process leadership
  • Experience working directly with Sales/BD or sponsorship teams
  • Strong command of English, written and verbal
  • Familiarity with WordPress, Google Docs, and AI-assisted writing/research tools

Nice to Have

  • Experience in crypto, fintech, or adjacent industries
  • Background in branded content, native advertising, or sponsored editorial at scale
  • Experience setting up or scaling a commercial content function from the ground up

Why Join Us

What the posting highlights about the offer:

  • Competitive salary and benefits package
  • One of the most recognized names in crypto
  • Flexible, modern, remote-friendly environment
  • Room to grow in a fast-moving global organization

Build a standout application

For the Commercial Content Editor (Remote - APAC) at Bitcoin.com, reviewers look for concise evidence over buzzwords. Mirror the language of the posting sparingly, quantify support or delivery outcomes, and show how you handled ambiguity, time-zone collaboration and user empathy. Keep your resume to impact, keep your cover note to one page, and link to artifacts — tickets resolved, docs shipped, dashboards owned — that prove you can operate in a fast-moving Web3 team. Prepare to discuss a time you turned a confusing user report into a clear fix and how you measure quality in support and operations.

Web3 hiring values reliability: on-time follow-through, clear writing, and a track record of improving runbooks and tooling. Treat the application as a work sample. For interviews, be ready to walk through how you prioritize across time zones, handle a difficult user, and decide when to escalate versus resolve directly. Show how you document decisions so the next teammate benefits.

In a distributed Web3 org, trust builds through written clarity. Use the cover note to demonstrate it.
