About Digital Asset & the Canton Network

Digital Asset builds the technologies that are reshaping the foundations of financial markets. Our mission is to create the world's most trusted, privacy-enabled, and interoperable digital infrastructure for global finance.

At the heart of this mission is the Canton Network - the blockchain purpose-built for institutional finance. Uniquely combining privacy, compliance, and scalability, Canton enables real-time, secure settlement across multiple asset classes. Governed by the Canton Foundation with participation from leading financial institutions, it is the proven link between the promise of blockchain and the power of global finance.

Founded in 2014 and headquartered in New York City, with offices in London, Zurich, Budapest, Hong Kong, and Sydney - we are on a mission to transform finance - and that transformation is now playing out rapidly on the Canton Network.

If you're interested in playing a crucial role at the intersection of traditional and crypto-capital markets and want to help bring the next trillion dollars of finance on-chain, join us.

About the role

We're hiring the first Analyst on our newly formed Operations team, reporting directly to the Director of Strategy & Operations. This is a ground-floor opportunity to help define how a fast-growing blockchain infrastructure company runs - from executive governance and cross-functional workflow management to the data and AI systems that support company-wide decision making.

You'll work across Finance, Legal, Product, and Engineering, and you'll have direct exposure to how a Series F, venture-backed crypto infrastructure company operates at the executive level. We're looking for someone early in their career who is hungry to learn, comfortable owning the unglamorous details as well as the strategic ones, and excited to bring modern data and AI tools into how the team works.

Responsibilities

  • Support executive governance coordination by managing agendas, materials, follow-ups, and documentation with a high level of accuracy and discretion.
  • Own and manage multiple cross-functional workflows simultaneously, keeping projects moving, surfacing blockers, and following through on the operational details that keep the team on track.
  • Partner with the Director of Strategy & Operations to identify workflows across the team - reporting, intake, documentation - that can be improved or automated using AI tools, and help build and maintain those solutions.
  • Build and maintain SQL-based queries, dashboards, and reporting views (e.g., in BigQuery and connected visualization tools) that turn operational and on-chain network data into clear, decision-ready reporting.
  • Aggregate and analyze data from both internal systems and blockchain/network sources to support leadership reporting, trend identification, and ad hoc analysis.
  • Take on research, documentation, process cleanup, meeting logistics, with scope and ownership growing quickly with the business.
  • Conduct ad hoc research on industry developments - capital markets infrastructure, crypto/web3 trends, regulatory shifts - that inform the Operations team's priorities.

What We're Looking For

  • 2-4 years of professional experience; prior internships or early roles in operations, finance, consulting, or a data-heavy function are a plus.
  • Comfort with SQL or databases, and real interest in data visualization and analytics.
  • Hands-on familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) and real curiosity about applying them to real workflows, not just using them casually.
  • A real interest in capital markets, blockchain infrastructure, crypto, and web3 - you follow the space and want to build a career in it.
  • Self-driven and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, distributed team environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and the judgment to handle sensitive or confidential information appropriately.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (business, finance, economics, computer science, or equivalent experience).

The range below may vary if based outside the New York tri-state area (New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut). Base salaries are determined during our interview process, during which we assess the candidate's experience, skills, and capabilities against internal peers and the scope and responsibilities of the position.
