Technical Product Marketing Manager - Brave Search APIs Location: Remote (USA and Europe) Employment Type: Full-time Team: Search
About Brave
Brave is building the independent search infrastructure for the AI era.
Brave Search API powers leading AI companies, applications, and developer frameworks. We're looking for a Technical Product Marketing Manager who can understand our technology, translate it into clear market value, and help accelerate adoption across the LLM, agent, and RAG ecosystems.
While others rely on Bing or Google APIs, Brave owns and operates its own global web index. This allows us to offer Zero-Data-Retention guarantees, independent ranking, and greater control over search infrastructure.
The Opportunity & Scope
We're seeking a Technical Product Marketing Manager to lead positioning, go-to-market strategy, content, and growth initiatives for Brave Search API.
You'll work closely with Product, Sales, Engineering, Growth, and Developer Relations to understand our APIs, customer use cases, and developer workflows, then turn that knowledge into compelling messaging, campaigns, and sales materials.
The ideal candidate has experience marketing AI, SaaS, developer tools, or APIs to both technical and business audiences. You are strategic, hands-on, data-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities
Positioning and Messaging: Develop differentiated messaging for developers, technical decision-makers, and enterprise buyers.
Technical Product Marketing: Build a working understanding of Brave Search API endpoints, integrations, developer workflows, and use cases, and communicate them clearly to technical and business audiences.
Go-to-Market Support: Partner with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Developer Relations on launches for new features, endpoints, integrations, and use cases.
Social Media and Audience Engagement: Support a focused social presence that amplifies product launches, technical content, customer stories, and industry insights.
Website and Conversion Optimization: Improve the customer journey from initial visit through signup, API-key creation, evaluation, and subscription.
Content and Sales Enablement: Create website copy, blog posts, case studies, technical explainers, presentations, email campaigns, and battlecards.
Market Insight and Analytics: Track performance, customer feedback, competitive positioning, and market trends to improve messaging and conversion.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work across Product, Sales, Engineering, Growth, and Developer Relations to align messaging and support pipeline growth.

- Ability to understand technical products and explain them clearly to developers and business buyers.
- Experience creating content for APIs, developer platforms, or other technical products.
- Strong copywriting, communication, positioning, and audience-development skills.
- Comfortable reading API documentation and using tools such as developer consoles, API clients, GitHub, or basic code examples.
- Experience with analytics, SEO, AEO, HubSpot, Google Analytics, or similar tools.
- Hands-on and comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience marketing to AI developers or enterprise customers.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, LLM applications, RAG, AI agents, or search technology.
- Experience with developer frameworks, SDKs, open-source communities, or technical integrations.
- Background in growth marketing, developer engagement, or event planning.
- Experience supporting enterprise evaluations or high-value B2B sales.
Perks & Compensation
- The opportunity to shape marketing for a leading AI and search API product.
- Remote flexibility with a collaborative, results-oriented culture.
- Competitive salary, benefits, and professional development opportunities.
- US salary range of $150,000 to $175,000, depending on experience.
