Saga is a legal innovation company on a mission to remove the friction between legal expertise and real-world impact, so lawyers can focus on what matters the most: people, ethics, and impact. Founded in Norway and built for the legal profession from day one, we integrate with local legal sources across multiple jurisdictions and are currently available in 12 languages. In just 18 months, we've grown to 85+ employees and 6,000+ users across 20+ countries - with market leadership in Norway and the Netherlands, and active expansion across Europe. We believe technology shouldn't replace legal reasoning, but strengthen it - so the law can work as it's meant to: aligned, accountable, and capable of delivering justice for everyone.
Your role as People Operations Specialist Saga is around 85+ people and growing fast, which means more colleagues, more locations and more questions arriving at once. As our People Operations Specialist, you'll look after the day-to-day of People operations for our teams in Norway, the Netherlands, Turkey and our remote colleagues. We want to build a culture and people experience that truly enables each person to do the best work of their career, and be happy whilst doing it! Part of that is about ensuring a seamless experience for our teams, and you'll play a vital role in making that happen - running onboarding that sets people up for success, supporting with our HRIS setup and maintenance to ensure accurate employee data, working closely with Payroll and Finance, and helping us stay compliant in each country we operate in. You'll work alongside Head of People, together with the Talent Acquisition team and our Office Assistant. This is a standalone role today, so you'll have real influence over how these processes are built, not only how they're run.
What you'll be doing
- Running day-to-day People operations and admin across the employee lifecycle - onboarding, offboarding, pay processes and performance conversations - so the experience feels consistent wherever someone sits
- Setting up and maintaining our HRIS, keeping employee data accurate and reporting dependable
- Looking after HR compliance across various locations, and writing the policies that keep expectations clear
- Supporting in embedding People processes into everyday practice - whether that's ensuring a regular feedback rhythm internally, enabling communication, collaboration and connection across teams and locations, or collaborating with Payroll and Finance on anything touching pay, you'll ensure that People Operations happens with ease
- Ensuring unified experience for office-based and remote colleagues - we want our culture and values to be felt by every member of Team Saga, and you contribution will be essential to creating that consistent experience
