Capital markets are undergoing a fundamental shift. Assets that live in fragmented systems and manual workflows are moving onto blockchains, systems designed to move and store value more transparently and efficiently.
While this unlocks more open and programmable financial systems, it also introduces significant complexity. For most users, interacting with this new infrastructure is still too difficult.
Fun builds the infrastructure that powers consumer-facing fintech applications, handling onboarding, account access, and money movement so users can interact with blockchain-based systems as seamlessly as they do with traditional finance. For fintech builders, Fun provides a best-in-class onboarding and deposit stack that drives conversion and unlocks user growth. We operate at the intersection of financial infrastructure, complex engineering, and product experience.
About The Role
We're looking for an L2 Support Associate to work the support cases that require real technical depth and sound judgment, but don't need to pull an engineer off the roadmap. You'll investigate complex account and transaction issues end-to-end, handling cases that are detail-heavy and often time-sensitive. This is a highly technical role for someone who wants hands-on experience with blockchain data and direct exposure to how a fintech infrastructure works.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate Complex Support Cases: Work technically involved cases end-to-end: tracing transactions across chains, verifying account and wallet details, and resolving issues that don't have an obvious answer.
- Build Clean, Auditable Case Files: Document the facts of every investigation clearly enough that a named decision owner can make a consistent call, and that the same case wouldn't get a different answer from a different reviewer.
- Get Genuinely Technical: Use on-chain explorers, internal tooling, and blockchain data across multiple chains to understand exactly what happened in a given case.
- Flag Patterns Upward: Surface recurring issues or policy gaps you notice in casework to the Support Lead and Head of Customer Support, so fixes happen at the policy level, not just ticket by ticket.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in a technical, support, or operations role; this is an early-career role with a genuinely technical bar.
- Comfortable navigating blockchain explorers (e.g. Etherscan, Solscan) and reading on-chain transaction data.
- Meticulous and detail-oriented; these are cases with real financial and account consequences, and the investigation trail needs to hold up to scrutiny.
- Strong written communication for documenting investigations clearly and consistently.
- Comfortable working within defined approval frameworks rather than making unilateral calls on consequential cases.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Prior exposure to compliance, fraud, or trust & safety workflows.
- Experience at a fintech, payments, or crypto-native company.
- Familiarity with AML/OFAC concepts, or interest in learning them on the job.
